Wanted to get peoples opinion on Jelavic.

Having a bit of a Torres Situation atm.

Do you think we should drop him? Give him a bit of bench time until he finds form again or keep persisting with him and hopefully he ends his goal drought and start finding the back of the net again.

Not bagging the man as i personnally think he works his socks off every week and im a big fan.

    Opinions please.

I'd drop him. It would give a rest and when he comes back he'll be hungrier then ever to score.

our big problem is, he's out only quality striker.......and our only chance of top 4 is if Jelavic starts banging in the goals like last season.....so moyes kinda has to persist with him and hope he gets his confidence back quickly.......Jelavic hasn't been playing badly, with a bit of luck he'd have had 2 against chelsea, and that might have given him the lift he needed.......his miss against Southampton was worrying, but thats just confidence.....

Moyes plays him today, hopefully he scores....

dunno how dropping him and denying him time on the pitch will help him find form. we need to keep faith with the bloke, and rely on him finding that lucky touch and goal that will give him the boost he needs. don't forget, other teams do their homework on him and deny him that yard in the box now that he made the most of last season.

Thing is, Jelavic isn't quality at the moment. He's massively off form.

the ressies is an ordinary standard tho. he's only going to get his touch back, IMO, if he's playing against top level defenders. he'll learn nowt from turning out for the reserves

That's where you're wrong and if you don't understand why now, you never will.

Are we all forgetting that Jelly isn;t actually playing crap, he is getting in good positions, he just isn;t getting the rub of the green.

I personally think we are all over thinking it just as he probably is, once he relaxes into it the goals will start to flow :)

I think playing Fellaini up behind him as robbed him of scoring opportunities early on, and he's never recovered from that. Play Fellaini deeper and you'll see Jelavic come to life.
