Posts: 3,204January 24 I read a decent article on the subject today. Apparently crime is falling, but at nothing like the reported % recorded. I don't remember if it was Labour or the Coalition but one if them changed the way the stats are recorded and the Police have been massaging them from day one. There's a 17% discrepancy iirc.

Posts: 726January 25 lol, I don't own one actually. I have no reason for one other than just for the fun of it, which I'm not gonna drop that kind of money just for mild entertainment. I do have a shotgun, but that's it. Have owned it for about 5 years or so and only had it out about 3-4 times. I've never been to entranced by firearms though. Pretty much everybody else around here has many weapons, including ar's.

I'd love to own one tbqh. A couple of AR's to go with a Glock would finish off my bug out kit nicely. -

You can get a decent one for a under a grand (£) but for a proper killing spree you're looking at a couple of grand. -
Posts: 726January 25 Well, apparently before all this anti gun talk you could get an ar15 for around $1300 or so. Now they are all gone. You can't find an assault rifle anywhere at any gun store or even .223 ammo. After the gun ban talk from Obama, the lines at the guns stores were out the doors. You can't buy an AR or .223 if you wanted to right now unless it's via second hand and you are gonna pay big time for it too! Luckily for me it doesn't affect me. But all this did was increase gun sales.
