He scored some good goals, but he never got his career at Everton started to be honest. I would only take him back if we had no fit strikers at all, but I think he's had his chance now.

Great business by us to sign him for £1M and sell him for £6M!

And a beauty against Fulham at the Gwladys Street end around five years ago...my first home game. I also remember Beatties lovely chip from that encounter. I´m 37 years old but didn´t make it to a Everton Game until 9 years ago against Manure at OT. Yep...THAT game were we undeservedly lost 3-0 in the last 5-6 minutes of the game!

Well, he very often not fit, free and can be played in midfield... what more does Moyes ask for in a striker?

At the end of the day we need bodies in and if mcfadden is going for free then sign. We know hes not the best but if he comes on and scores a few goals to win us a few games then its decent for us. Hes done it in the past no reason why he cant do it again

Sign him up, he'll score a few, maybe even get a decent run of fitness going... then sell him to a promoted side.

He'll still think he's ronaldinho/messi and try and skin players when he's got no pace whatsoever.

he's crap leave him where he is, even tho it would be a free sigining you still have to pay him and that will tie up millions in resources that could be going to a decent younger find

We should be bringing through young players not useless journeymen.

He scored enough amazing goals to be regarded as far more than a 'useless journeyman'.

Maybe he did grow into the players he should have. Maybe injury took that from him, maybe not.

But I'm sure he still has the talent to get many a fan on the edge of their seats yet!

He never had a chance because he was always injured.
