    getting my eldest a laptop for his homework and wondered if i need microsoft word or f there is a suitable version downloadable for free

    advice wouldbe good

    also what laptop to get

    i.e chromebook
    netbook
    or full blown laptop

    Hopefully his Mother in law will have got tickets for a tour of the Toshiba Lap top factory, so he'll get all the info he needs there, and guess what, the tickets will be the same day as the Reading game !!!!!

    Theres a HP effort in PCWorld, 8gb memory 1tb hard drive. £379. Daughter got one, loves it. Oh and you can buy office off them for about 70 quid whilst at it.
