we have best left side in the premiership and once mirallas is back we will be fine on the right, no lack of creativity there, malouda isnt for us

i'm not expecting him to play on the left.  i presumed moyes would be bringing him in to play on the right and cut inside.  it's all if and buts with mirallas .  when is he back ?  will he be fit?  will he get injured again ?  we cant afford to take these chances if we want to finish in the top 4.  we need a winger right now to play down the right, we can't keep relying on naismith or even worse anichebe

    haha like who ?

doesn't drenthe fit the discription that you mentioned ? moyes still took him on.  he was good enough for chelsea for 5 years so i wouldn't be turning my nose up at him until the end of the season.  can't do any harm thats for sure

What because he wants us to sign Florent Malouda?

He's worth a squad place until the end of the season, the best thing about it is that he would purely be coming to play as he could just kick his heels and pick his money up until the end of the season.

I don't think he is the same player he was when he got his move to Chelsea but as an attacking component there are not many with his ability likely to be available on loan for the rest of the season, i would worry that Rafa would kibosh it though, he's not likely to do us any favours is he?

another plus is that he's no risk.  he's established himself in the prem for years and can come in a do a job no ifs or buts

ok well if thats all it takes to be good just previously playing in the prem and even previously doing well in the prem ... do i have to come up with examples? torres, pienaar, ... etc.

it's less risk than buying someone who's never played in england before

well i thought we werent talking about buying someone ... if we are buying someone id rather take a gamble on a class international than some prem teams reject

its just a loan until the end of the season.  i don't moyes has any intentions of signing a 32 year old permantley.  if you need someone to come in and do a job for 5 months i honestly don't see a problem with malouda.  it's not as if he's a bad player

well i think that players like malouda ... who haven't played in a long time ... wont do a job for us or at least the job we need them to do ... look at naismith ... you can say whatever about him, that he is out of position that he needs more time because of his crocked knees or whatever but the simple fact is he hasnt do it for us yet

that i agree on but an attacking player to slip behind jela is what we need not a winger as i dont think we should be giving up on mirallas' fitness already

do we not already have that in naismith ?  don't you think mirralass could also play nehind jelavic ?

why move mirallas out of where he plays better ... i think he does well in central positions but is better out wide and will eventually be moved out left permanently as that is his favored position ... i would rather us get someone like osman to play in that hole who is creative and can pick the final pass ... and from what i have seen of naismith i really wouldnt mind if we moved him on for a profit in the summer, i dont think he is the kind of player to bring us forward

can't argue with that.  i also think mirallas is better left, he was quality out there against liverpool, and pienar is getting on a bit so mirallas will be our future left sided player.i think naismith is a decent player but i don't see him as a long term solution and i'd love to make a profit on him (i think that was moyes plan from the start as with beckford).

yer so i'd have to agree a number 10 type player would be the perfect signing but the question is who ?

Messi would be ideal ! but until we find £300million then maybe go for Gary Hooper
