I fkin love Tesco's.. Horseburgers or not, they just cleared our debt entirely with a single letter.

Basically.. We got a letter saying we probably owe you something for PPI.. which normally goes in the bin but it included a list of things that are classed as miss-selling and we applied to several so we thought sod it give it a go.. whilst we're at it may as well try HSBC who we had loans with in the past and Northern Rock who we had a mortgage with...
Well we're yet to hear from HSBC but so far that letter from Tesco's has netter us £17k and put us (not by much admittedly) back in credit..get in.. so far liking 2013.

Mortgage helps a lot.. nearly 20 years of payments returned and the lost interest is added in.

Honestly me neither but if you've had a loan in the past, there's a chance you had Payment Protection, most of them paid out to us because we thought ours covered both of us for if we lost our jobs, it turns out it was only my wife that was covered which is enough for them to give us the money back.. Just ask them to check and if you had PPI, fill out the form the send and they send you money.. its ace.
