Do people honestly not go to games just because a stadium is old? That's a pathetic excuse.

Nah more to do with about 6,000 seats having restricted views. You'll put up with sitting behind an iron girder when Utd are in town but it's not as appealing trying to see from the back of the lower glawdys or paddock just to see West Ham come and park the bus. If we had a stadium were all seats offered a decent view we'd get full houses every week

I see. I knew there were many seats labelled "restricted view" but I didn't know how bad they really were. I saw a pic that Warrington Dan posted a few days ago and it was terrible. I could handle moving my head around some but I can see it getting old quick.

I think Dan posted the view from the main stand, that is similar to the upper stands all around the ground but you have to experience being at the back of the lower stands to know how bad it is as when everyone stands up you have to as well to try and see the pitch but when you do you still can't see it as the upper stand slopes so far down you can't see the pitch!

    10% restricted view.

Should sell them for tenner each for cat b/c games.

Still don't sell, give them to local kids.

I think I understand what you're saying about the sloped roof. I was at a basketball game last week and sat in the last row in a place with a big downslope and I could see the court, but not the screen above the court because of the roof angle. I can't really blame people for not paying good money for those then. I know when I come over in the next year or two, I'll make damn sure my seats are not restricted view. I'd be ****.
