    Fantastic listening....

    says he and Roy Jones have agreed to fight each other and they are just reviewing offers....

    I'm not one for fighters coming out of retirement however these two are both the same age...neither are looking to try amd win a world title so why the hell not.

    I'll watch it....Collins called Jones out for years including getting into the ring at one of Jones' fights to challenge...

    Now Jones is saying this is the last fight he wants before he retires.....

    Jones shouldnt be fighting at all mate, his head is completely shot and shouldnt be granted a license imo.

    no mate, i don;t like to see fighters at it when they shouldn't be. Could you imagine floyd and pacman getting it on when they are 45 ?? lolololol

    i saw collins and benn at an amateur boxing event in brighton not so long ago, they were raisng money for charity..collins was a very honest man in the questions he was asked, he said he didnt think he he would of beaten benn or eubank if he had fought them in their prime, he said he caught them at the end of their careers..seemed a top bloke to me..but hes far too old for a comeback!!

    If this happens, then im off boixing for a long time. Its a fekin circus, is what it is. Do the authorities that be have to stoop to this to entertain us ? whats wrong with the rest of the worlds fighters, surely they can do better than this, im really getting sick of it like..... 8->

    Normally would agree with yis Sambo/ Howie but the way I see it is this.

    It's not the case of some fighter coming back at 50 years of age thinking they can beat guys 20 years younger. They're both a similar age.....neither thinks he can win a world title and I don't think they'll have any fights after this. Collins certainly won't and jones says this is the one fight he would like before he retires.

    Should Jones still be fightin? Probably not, but he's won his last two fights and it doesn't matter if they were against bums,although one of them was undefeated in , he still beat a couple of guys and Collins has been out so long I think it evens it up. At the end of the day 3 years ago Jones stopped Jeff Lacy on his stool, something that nobody else had ever managed.

    It's nothing more than a spectacle so I say let them fight, it's not going to have any sort of negative impact on boxing as far as I can see.....

    Not trying to change yer minds like just putting my opinion forward.......

    Problem being, ya have this fight and where will it end. There'll be non stop fights like it, money being thrown away on has beens. Eubank v Benn ???? oh c'mon please.....

    I know where your coming from mate and i agree with the principle......just don;t think there is any need. I sense the proud irishman coming out in you cos its Steve Collins (which i can udnerstnad btw) but its head ruling heart sort of thing (imo)

    I like watching fighting... if two evenly matched grans were lined up for a scrap... I'd watch it... I'd happily watch these two have a tear up... its not boxing boxing for the purist but hey ho...

    i remember jones in the calzaghe fight.  he was shot then and that was 2008 i think.  he could hardly move around the ring in the latter stages of the fight.  that was 5 years ago so i don't think he's got any business being in a boxing ring anymore
