    But if it was the end of the season would we be going down to alphabetical order to sort the placings out!?!?

    we're 7th, positive goal difference and the best start to a season for years. and we've gotta game in hand.

    but we've got some tough matches coming up.manc, lfc, chelski, and manu.

    if we can get something out of the mancs it will be nice.

    we've got west brom on wednesday and we really need 3 points to give us a cushion for the next matches.

    Seriously thought, I think if that was ever the case, they should have a play off game, and whoever wins finishes the higher.

    Not a bad idea at all, how else do they sort it if it meant a place in europe etc was up for grabs??

    City does start with a C, United with a U, for that matter Newcastle with an N, Spurs with a T and Sunderland with an S.. I don't like any of em.. ;)

    I always thought it came down to games won in the event of points and goal difference, followed by away games won. Could be wrong though.

    Not one mention of the head to head record? Surely that comes before alphabetical order?
