Paying more to see the Blues...

We all love Everton, right? We all want the club to invest more and be even more successful.
However, the club is losing money, due in the main to turnover being low and the percentage of wages to turnover being too high.

I think we are privileged to be part of the success we see every week on the pitch......in the main we see top class football and have a squad that, whilst lacking in depth, is right up there with the best.

Maybe it’s time for us to pay a little more for that privilege. An increase of £3 per matchday ticket or, say, £50 on a season ticket would see the club return to profit with a much lower wages / turnover ratio.

I know that its expensive enough to watch football and that more money is hard to come by, but before the ridicule starts, just think about it.

An Everton in profit is a club someone may wish to buy. An Everton in profit can repay its debt. An Everton in profit can invest in better players. We fans get the benefit.

    Would you pay more?

A good example for an absolute balloon head of a supporter the board fail year after year off the pitch yet_gobshites like yer good self are oblivious to their continuous failings then come on here wanting supporters who are already overpaying to watch the games (look at germany) to spend more to cover what losses that_queer bill and his appointed inadequate commercial personnel make

so to answer your question shove yer idea up your ring

tonyd...your response is both predictable and ill informed as usual.

Everton fans pay about the PREMIER LEAGUE going rate to watch a top 5 team outside of London.

I think you protest a little too much about Bill Kenwrights sexuality btw ;-)

Your first post is a pile of_shite 3 quid per match wont scratch the surface of the debts why don't you ask Bum Boy Bill for a job? You're as good with the sums as he is and you could carry his bags around for him an all yer_arselicker.

Protesting about bill being in the closet? He's as masculine as Lily Savage look at them adverts on that drama show hes got Break many legs darlings and all that caper hes a massive_fag and you're a_fag admirer so that means you're a_fag too.

yeh look at germany , it is cheaper but name me all the top stars playing over there, the premiership is a global brand and im pretty sure if it wasnt for all the top stars playing here in the prem we wouldnt get much money off sky, you get what you pay for and i wouldnt go out my way to watch german football, but i would with the prem and the spanish league.

but i agree that the fans shouldnt pay for the boards failings, to only make 7 million a year through advertising is shocking when you have a product like the premiership to sell

I take it that you are not an accountant tonyd....YOU do the sums, over a whole season and see what you come up with,

To give you a clue, its a very big number.......more than the number of brain cells you display on here.

hahahaaa This seat is near the back of the of Lower Gwlady's St and it's right over to the right hand side so 99% of the action is to the left (behind a massive blue pole) and even that 1% of the pitch is blocked of by a second pole. Also the seat doesn't go all the way down so you can't sit in it if you've got a left leg (no problem for Anichebe then) so what I want to know is which retard design that?!
