    hehe made up lid, bet they say it was because of being down to 9 men. truth is they were getting even more destroyed with 11 v 11. all that money spent and they are pants, roll on the derby!!!

    Love the fact that Liverpool were getting blew up at the start of the season as contenders, ah how I laughed. Over inflated prices paid for average players and a manager whose tactics belong in the 80's.

    I can see them struggling to make top 6 - This season I think it's going to be very open with lots of highs and lows for all clubs bar a couple. Take Stoke for example, good start to the season and then thumped by Sunderland today and Fulham drawing with City at the minute.

    Correct me if I'm wrong here....but one game suspensions for 2 yellows doesn't come into effect for 7 days after the incident....meaning Adam's and Skrtel's suspensions don't come into effect until after their game against Wolves - meaning they're suspended for the derby.

    Is that right?

    I always thought that, but just found this from the FA rulebook (FTCM means First Team Competitive Match)

    (i) PLAYERS SENT OFF UNDER LAW 12 (7)
    A Player who is dismissed from the Field of Play for receiving a second caution
    in the same match will be suspended automatically from FTCM commencing
    forthwith, until such time as his Club’s First Team has completed its next FTCM
