Everton this season are like Ron Paul when he ran last year in the Republican Primary

    I understand that most people in the world dont follow american politics but there was this libertarian who ran for the republican nomination for president called ron paul and there was a major media cover up of the fact that he was a very popular candidate for some time ... he would continuously poll in the top 3 and the media would consistently skip over his name and talk about the other 4 of the top 5 candidates and generally just ignore him ... i feel as though that is what the english media is doin to us ... we are going to be up there at the end of the season but all i can hear being talked about is other "more prestigious" clubs ... thoughts? agree? disagree? waste of a post?

    its frustrating but a good thing at the same time.

    less exposure = less pressure. 


    But annoying as a fan b'cos we deserve the plaudits...

    Totally agree.  Ron Paul/Rand Paul are from my state so I'm well aware of him.  He had a way bigger following but for some reason wasn't he not allowed to speak at the Republican National Convention?

    In truth, not all, but the vast majority of this stuff about the media hating us is pure paranoia. Much of it laughable.
