    haha nice!

Naa a player from the Norweigan league..must be because he is an International? But if memory serves me right this fee would be common in that league.

Hope we sign him but I thought David Moyes was hoping to loan a player or two unless Johnny on his way home to Holland.

Moyes has watched him a few times, so he must be decent......so £4m for a good young centre back is good business.....bad news for Duffy though.....

Haven't seen a reasonably reliable media source report this yet. Wouldn't get too excited.

I would be surprised if this is true as I thought we only had nominal transfer funds, and £4M isn't nominal. Also there is no sign of Heitinga going, so I don't know where the money will have came from.

I've been giving this some thought after the accounts were released and I think the club are trying to hide what money we have so we get best value given out financial position. I don't think the board are anywhere near as dumb as some would have us believe and we actually have a relatively tidy sum set aside. The only other explanation, as far as I can see, is that the board are made up of financial dullards. Given the business sense they've had to get where they are, I just don't see it. I have a feeling those operating expenses aren't anywhere near what's been declared, it's totally implausible.
