    Welcome back to the transfer clockwatch. Couple of early lines from the Sunday papers. Everton are being linked with a move for Brazilian left-back Marcal who they see as a long-term successor to Leighton Baines. The 23-year-old is currently with Nacional in Portugal

    must be nonesense unless were looking to sell baines we have oviedo as cover and surely wont waste funds on a position were ok

    Everton have been linked with a move for Guillaume Hoarau but will miss out on the Paris St Germain forward, according to L'Equipe. Everton reportedly offered Hoarau lower wages than he would earn at Dalien Aerbin and he is now expected to travel to China to undergo a medical on Monday before signing a contract.

    well if someone prefers to go china then shows all there interested in is money, shame we cant compete with chinese teams, wtf are chang doing dont sell any beer to that club, infact sell them double the thought of drinking that gnats **** will sort em out

    What is worrying is that Moyes losing his options, which don't seem to be quality players. This guy, and Lampard. Something's telling me we're in for a bad January.

    People are forgetting about Luke Garbut who did extremely well on loan last year, albeit in the second division.

    We have Oviedo & distin who can cover to Baines...unless Baines is leaving we won't be buying another left back...
