BlueShark said:Which is fair enough mate - but Naismith being picked ahead of Oviedo is not Naismith's fault!

everyone seems to think that im takin a personal swing at naismith ... remove emotion from this ... i do not think he is good enough to start ... i dont think he is a bad person or dislike him as a person but that doesnt mean that i wont say that he should be on the bench for the better of the team

is give naismith a chance.....

i feel i have seen enough of his game to know that his poor first touch out on the wing wont get better played in the middle where there is less time and space ... he just isnt composed or technical enough for the middle (in the prem league)

Not at all mate, I actually agree with your sentiment about Oviodo starting too - and that's what it's all about, opinions :)

EvertonfcNSNO said:my gripe is that he is being played ahead of oviedo ... i feel as though a winger should be able to receive a ball to feet and run at their defender ... naismith rarely if ever does this

EvertonfcNSNO said:because he has the technical ability to play anywhere across the 3 of the attacking midfielders we have although probably not composed or intelligent enough to play in the middle he could do a job for us as he can beat for pace down the line and play with both feet or cut inside to have a pop
-----------------
koolhandluke8 said:err... i thought he was a centre forward/striker predominently ?
he "fills in" at right side of midfield/wing because we're short on numbers only..when full side out do you really think he'll still be there...

EvertonfcNSNO said:are you talkin naismith now? if so then yes but i direct you towards my comment to you previously where imply that playing cf or st in the scottish league is different to playing it in the prem league
-----------------
EvertonfcNSNO said:ease up sambo haha ... saying someone CAN play somewhere is different than saying that someone can play well somewhere ... im sorry if you feel as though these things arent up for debate but sir do you see that you are making a similarly "magical" argument as we have seen that the crossing ability of oviedo is head and shoulders above naismith

sambo applecart said:playing LB (oviedo) in the danish league, is very different to playing LB or LW in the premier league (just in case you didn't know like)
-----------------
EvertonfcNSNO said:quite correct good sir but of the games played i feel as though oviedo as a player does better in the position that naismith is currently holding down
-----------------
sambo applecart said:sorry, explain to me where i have said anything about Naismith's crossing ability? And to suggest somebody that can swing a ball in from the left with his left foot than he would do on the right with his left foot is your good self imagining in your head he could do that.....
