The abuse that Naismith is getting is shocking...

You clearly didn't watch him at Rangers and clearly don't know what his best position is, he is a 2nd striker not a right mid/right winger...  But does Naismith moan? no he gets on with it...

    He will come good.....

im not giving him abuse , if you look at some naismiths threads i have defended him saying hes a striker not a right sided midfielder and i think hes got goals in him,

Don't think anyone disputes he's playing out of position, but I still don't think he's good enough for us.

well maybe he isnt the player he was at rangers? ... when i think about whether naismith is good enough for the club or not im not think about position as much as technique ... even if he is playin behind jelly he has shown that his touch is not up to snuff in terms of first touch receiving a ball, the weight of pass to a teammate and vision also to see the correct pass ... we have a new look squad and I feel he is a not great version of tim cahill ... that said i wont be too bothered as long as mirallas stays fit and keeps him outta the starting lineup

Surely Rangers are not Premier League standard. We could play all of our non performing players hoping they come good but where will we finish in League.

Naismith played for a second rate team in a second rate league, not anywhere near premiere league standards.Probably do ok in the championship.

Moyes played Arteta on the right when he first came to get him used to the pace of the premier league(if you notcie a few managers do that with players before shifting them in to the middle)....if it hadnt been for felli and osman playing so well this season i think ozzy might have been on the right a bit, felli playing deeper and Naismith getting his chance behind the striker.....but circumstance hasn't allowed for it as of yet....

i understand what you mean but i dont think that arteta and naismith can be compared ... arteta everyone could see was quality when he got here

erm, he was 'ok' when he first came. And had time to bed in by being played out on the right, it wasnt until a year or so later when he started showing how good he can be. I'm not saying Naismith is or will be as good as Arteta turned out to be, but the lad is being played totally out of position, and, is probably only about a year into coming back from a cruciate ligament him self, so he can get better.....
