    Really **** off with it used to pay £5.60 a week on a payment card last year no w it's gone up to a £7 a week and nothing but repeats sorry guys just one of those days.

    Refuse to pay. When they send you letters, send them back informing them that you no longer operate any devices capable of receiving a TV signal, when they ask to visit, inform they in a written letter via recorded delivery that you are officially removing their right to enter your property. Even with the Police they don't have the right to enter but it's a good idea to have that letter on file. When they send an 'inspector', inform him of what's been done so far and that he doesn't have permission to enter your property. They're actually investigators and have zero legal powers, as with the Police in civil matters. Check out YouTube, there's some funny examples of investigators, accompanied by the Police, being sent packing.

    Since when has an aerial been proof of a television? It's the equipment that decodes the signal not the means of receiving it that needs to be proven.
