I know you're kidding TonyTony but just by coincidence i was reading about him today and apparently Barca signed him for 40 million Euro's but have agreed to let him stay put until after the world cup putting down a retainer fee of 10 million, not sure how true it is but these teams are just in a different stratosphere when you look at our accounts, we are all falling to pieces because we lost 9 million last year!

To the OP, welcome to the forum btw (edit) i would like to see us test Swansea with a go for Michu, i think he'd fit into our team brilliantly, after doing his due diligence on the right wing of course!

if we are talking brazilians and then brazilians we could actually afford that would be good for us ... i would go for a lad called felipe anderson from santos ... young playmaker ... although i never trust that south americans a) want to come to the prem b) will settle in the prem c) will stay at a club like ours if they start to play quite well

Charlie Austin is now 5/4 (from 3/1) to join Everton in January, with contenders for his signature thought to be few and far between. Newcastle are 6/1 while QPR are 8/1 – but the Toffees are clear favourites to sign the Burnley striker.

When did ofoe become class ?

Or Forren become better than agger ?

I watch alot of football and read alot on it and until recently id never heard barely anything about them.
I also doubt most on here had.

Yet now they are amazing ?

We build em up to knock em down.

I bet anyone saying ofoe is class is the first c*nt to chastise moyes if hes 5 h1t , should we sign him.

I would like this team next season. Dont think it would cost all that much and would take us to the next level!!

Howard, Coleman, Jagielka, Lescott(LOAN), Baines, Mirallas, Odjidja-Ofoe (LOAN), Fellaini, Holtby (FREE), Pienaar, Jelavic.

Subs, Butland, Distin, Oviedo, Osman, Hourau (LOAN/CHEAP), Anichebe.

I also watch a lot of football and have seen bruge play quite a bit this season in the euro cup and interestingly enough against prem league opposition and he played well in all the games ive seen ... youre making a mistake between thinking #1) that people think he will be class immediately and #2) that the quality you are talking about is relative from club to club he will be a quality player for us as it will allow us to reshuffle some people into their more comfortable positions and keep phil nevs out of the middle

i watch a lot of football too, and i have an opinion on a lot of things football, but i could no way suggest (unless it was ronaldo or messi) that some one would be good/class/a great signing for us......there is people far more qualified than i to decide that kind of thing. That's why i'm sat behind a desk talking to you people, while some body is out there who know's an awful lot than i do, scouting players for Everton football club.

but do you see that you're acting like there is some attribute unseen or recognized by the laymen that a scout could pick up on ... to me he played well within his team and with a better team around him he could look even better ... not that complicated in my opinion ... obviously no joe schmoe can just walk up and say ive played 10000 hours of footy manager now give me a job(and im not saying any joe schmoe could do a job) ... you have to have connections within the footballing world it is a giant political-like stage

you have made a comment on his quality if you speak in a normal manner because when people say ... when did so and so happen? they are usually incredulous towards the thing being spoken of ... if you didnt mean it in that way then apologies

well i feel as if  they are scouts first and foremost because they played at a certain level and have a name recognizable to the organization they are representing but not that the playing of football at that level gives you a certain set of characteristics unknown or realized by the regular man and i guess by regular man i mean someone like me who although didnt get anywhere near pro soccer played at a reasonable level compared to a lot of people
