It was a brief cameo but he looks like he has pace, he wants the ball, chased players down and got an important flick on for Drenthe.

I dont want to get carried away, but the Jib was well cut and I liked it.

We haven't really had a tall target man since Big Dunc and now we've got two in Velios and Denis, both look very willing to do their part for the team. While we only saw a bit of Denis he made a good flick on for the goal and made a pretty good sliding tackle just outside our box, but Velios impressed me most, looks to try and hold the ball upfront, well up for it and scored a pretty good headed goal as well.

Hoping we can have either (or both) leading the line for us soon. Cahill has been doing a great job recently upfront but we can't rely on him all the time because at the end of the day he isn't an out and out striker, not one that can play alone anyway.

I thought Velios and Denis looked good together. Would happily see them play again midweek. Cup game, give em a chance.

I dont like the over protective nature of Moyes - his interview was him tryin to play down the pressure on Velios and the two loan signings. He could have just said they did well and he's lookin forward to seeing more of the same...

To be fair, I'd like to see them in a 4-4-2, either together or with a smaller, pacey striker. Fed up of this 4-5-1 ****.
