By all means sub on a few younger lads if we're 4 or 5 up, but not until then..... -

True, but Distin has been our best central defender by far this season, and I'd put Jelavic in as he really needs to start scoring again and this game should be an ideal opportunity to do so. -

A P Mccoy, Richard Johnson, Jason Maguire, Sam Twiston Davies, Aidan Coleman, Tom Scudamore, Nick Scholfield, Tom O'brian, Paddy Brennan, Dougie Costello, and put Filaini in as he has had a holiday. That should even things up.You could jockey the players around a bit if you want. -

Posts: 279December 2012 because anything can happen in a cup game. we got knocked out of the carling cup by leeds. it's not a case of saying its only cheltenham therefore i'll pick a team capable of beating them. it's more a case of saying it's the f.a cup 3rd round and we want to progress as far as we can, maybe even win it, therefore we must play our strongest side despite the caliber of the opposition
but if you really want me to access your starting line up then i will. duffy is pants. barkley has the confidence of billyaletdinov at the moment therefore with him in the starting line up it's like playing with 10 men cos the rest of the team has to carry him. velios is **** as is anichebe. pretty simple really

Posts: 121January 1 I can understand why people have this as apotential banana skin, i went to leeds game and was gutted with our performance that night when in reality we could of been a s/f away from final.The fa cup is massive and i do feel we have a team to challenge all the way to the final,but i am really loving taking on the so called big boys in the prem race.I really want us to maintain our form right through the season have not given up on 4th yet!!!!
We do need to play a strong team but after watching wigan and chelsea games it is clear that osman piennar and jelavic are running on empty.Distin has also been class last 3 games give him a rest too.
For me it is the time to introduce oviedo and barkley and maybe velios if Davey has there attitude right that should be enough to get past Cheltenham.
