we usually have players on loan from the start of the the season.....

    But this season we don;t have any.


    How many players are you allowed to loan during the course of a season?


    I know it probably seems trivial, but, is it a sign we are a bit more stable financially that we dont necessarily have to look to the loan market, and, does it mean, that taking loans on board in Jan would mean us getting a good look at players and not having to shell out money until we are completely sure it will work out?

    Just to go away from all the man love in here, I think that loan deals are always preferable and easier in January seeing as players who haven't played for the first part of the season will want to move and loans are often the best way to do that seeing as buying anyone in January makes their price a lot more than it would be in the summer as any club buying now is likely desperate like Liverpool are.

    Any club with sense will likely hold them to ransom because they really DO need players and they've made that known. I mean 12m for Sturridge? That's way too much for him.
