Would now not be a good time for EFC to start with a striker???

Think the subs made a hughe voice today....start with Vellios next week, Cahill on the bench????

    My team next week

    Howard
Hibbert (seems to have found a little form)
    Jagielka
    Distin
    Baines
    Rodwell
    Fellaini
    Coleman
    Drenthe
    Vellios
    Stra.....yeah HIM :)

Moyes is never going to switch from a 4-6-0 to a 4-4-2!  Do either of these guys have much movement, or are they target men and a bit stationary?

    I agree.

Drenthe added more pace down the left than Billy, he also came inside alot more. And his goal was sweet.

Vellios can hold the ball up, and score, as he showed.

I'd  still use Denis as a sub for Cahill at the moment. He looked good, but Cahill has been on form of late, causing all sorts of problems.

I loved watching Stracqua man and Vellios up front together. Both are big/ target men but they shown that they had talent on the ball. COYB!!! We are finally starting a season well! The sky is the limit! Scratch that we have no limits!!!

To be honest, Denis and Vellios show they have some movement, Denis came in and ran his socks off whilst he could. I'd definitely be starting Drenthe ahead of Billy, problem is, Osman and Cahill are playing well together for 65 minutes of the game. So taking that into account, as well as Moyes apparently reluctance to play two strikers, I think we'll only see Royston starting next week, otherwise an unchanged team.

I think the only reason we went 4-4-2 today was because we were all over them, and Cahill was nackered. If Cahill hadn't been nackered, we'd have stayed that way.

Vellios with Osman would be my choice

    Drenthe instead of Bily

Problem is where does this leave Barklay who was our best player in the first 2 games

Yeah forgot about Barkley. Think Moyes will carry on with his nurturing tactics with Barkley but he needs a lot of game time and is a pure prospect.

Barkley on the bench I think, he's still learning, as some of his passes indicate, probably a great future, but let his get there slowly.
