Hi everyone, I don't know the city of Liverpool at all, but I have been googling a bit and have found a handful of sites where everton can build a new stadium. I had a few ideas, they might sound rubbish I know, but has anyone ever consider to rebuild goodison not as it stands today? What if the stadium was rebuild demolishing the biggest stands, making way for the new stands behind the goal??? Everton could play at Prenton Park for a season, or the time needed to rebuild. Another possibility would be playing while some parts of the new stands were being built, not building one stand at a time, but the corners, two of them and the new one behind the goal, which would replace the bullens road stand, not where it stands but pushed forward, got it??? By that time we would have half the stadium built. The rest of the stands could be completed one at a time, leaving the main stand to the end of the redevelopment. This is possible to be done, with the right planning and building it by blocks. I would like you to have a look at the Genoa and Sampdoria stadium which has 4 columns at each corner; these columns could be used to build a hotel, a restaurant, a museum, a TV studio and corporate boxes while supporting the new stands.
I know there´s a school and around 20 houses that would be rolled over, but the club would have to sort a solution to those, I don't want to get people out of their houses, but relocation with bigger and better houses, or a new school at Stanley Park, would be a nice gesture from the club.
All this costs money and I don't know if everton has it, but it's an idea and if you pass by the lunacy of if IT CAN BE DONE.

ohh i forgot to say that the pitch would only be switched when the new half of the stadium was already build, if possible in the pre-season.

Sir, this is a gentlemanly forum where we hold thoughtful discussions. There is no need for such foul linguistics here.

There is a site which would be good if it was possible. Peel holdings are developing most of the north end of the docks and if they would give,or sell us some land it would be ideal. It is only three miles from Goodison.

The best place (not that it will ever happen) is by the gracie market and Everton sports centre, its just warehouses (not many in use and shops (all closed down) flatten the lot and it would make a great site, close to town and the tunnels not that we want to be encouraging the squirals over like
