I hope this does not offend anyone, but I can't get the South Yorkshire Police over Hillsborough

    The actions of the officers involved were disgusting, but it just seems so odd the values they put on doing certain things...

    Given some of the actions that were highlighted by the investigation, you can almost imagine a private room somewhere in a basement. A senior officer overseeing the dark acts as they are carried out by a small number to men, and enquiring of them what it is that they are doing:

    "I'm researching the criminals records of the dead sir, we'll be feeding the worse bits to the press in an attempt to besmirch them for the criminals they should now be recognised as, sir!"

    "good work, keep it up"

    "I'm off to the morgue now, to illegally take blood samples from dead children in the hope of finding evidence that some shandy bass was consumed.... which will be giving to a friendly tabloid editor to paint a scene of a drunken mob out of control."

    "Excellent work, off you go"

    "Well sir, having re-written the eye witness police officers reports from the day. The vast majority of which I've changed to state the complete opposite of what they originally claimed to have observed... I'm going to destroy the originals so there is no record of our actions in, what is after all, a highly organised cover-up sir"

    "STOP RIGHT THERE! You utter fiend... besmerching the dead and covering up the needless deaths of so many people is one thing....as is blaming the very victims themselves for our own incompetence.....However, we have some standards here you know. I will not tolerate ill kept paperwork on my watch!!! All the originals must be kept, along with a record of the exact number of changed reports, including a complete record of each and every edited change.... Good Grief man!!! Have you no soul???"




    Just seems so very strange to me. Again, no offence meant.

    Did you hear the bit about West Midlands police? Apparently they exaggerated how drunken and rowdy our fans were on our visit to Birmingham to play Norwich in order to support South Yorkshire police's assertion that such behaviour was endemic on Merseyside.

    police are really aufall in some areas in the country they should be exposed for what they did, the hurt they`ve coused is outragus

    1989 FA Cup semi final... We won.. We played Liverpool in the final and lost 3-2 after extra time... It was only weeks after Hillsborough...

    I was the designated driver..the other 12 pi55eads..err mates...were drinking shandy and lucazade and such as i remember..the vomit was due to a poor pasty we encountered from the services honest...

    Its not about that any more, thats been brushed under the carpet, its b'cos the police were corrupt and that's what caused what happened that day, cos when they woke up that morning, they thought 'i wonder what we can do to cause some mayhem today, and then afterwards think up some yarns to spin to every one and see what we can get away with'.....

    i agree, but as long as its not let go, people will still talk about it.....and until the legal wranglings are done with, it will drag on and on and on, and probably even then it will still drag on and on and on.......
