Beckford Transfer and Sell Policy

Just something which came into my head. We get him for free and then sell him on after a year to raise cash.

Do you think this would hinder our chances of getting free transfers in he future?

Are free transfers going to be interested in joining us knowing that possibly they will be sold a year later just so we can get cash?

its not a bad policy imo. if you can get people in on a free who can do a job for a year, with the view to selling them in a year, then its easy money. the only downside is that you could be stuck with them

depends i guess......if like beckford, your from the lower leagues then, i still think you would jump at the chance of a year in the prem regardless.
if you was already in the prem, hypothetically lets say joey barton, then he would probably have no intention of signing for a year to be sold on.
so in answer to your origional point, imo it would only put off established, current prem players, a lot of foreign players and lower league players would see it either as an opportunity or a shop window.

I WOULDNT OF THOUGHT SO IF THE MONEY IS RIGHT ! SAY BECKFORD DOUBLED HIS WEEKLY WAGE WHEN HE CAME HERE ! THAT PROBABLY HAD MORE OF A SAY WHY HE JOINED !

He scored 10 goals but wasn't enough of a team player and missed too many sitters, thnik given a bit more time he would have done better, but like milky said I suppose his face didn't fit and maybe he didn't gel with the team off the pitch.

He's was hardly going to be the next famous No# 9. Made good profit on a squad player and you can't really argue with that when you're in Everton positions.
