I hate when Moyes says we give young players a chance here.......cos he doesn't really......unless we've got alot of injuries, young players only get half a chance at best, and are then dropped again....

Liverpool have given Sterling a chance, and he's done well.....and he's younger than Barkley.....thought he could have offered more than Naismith & Oviedo did last night......and in the last 10 mins, players like Pienaar, Osman & Fellaini looked knackered. why not have given the young lad a chance late on (like he did Rodwell against Man utd)....

    Who's Barkeley?

Although Ross isn't playing because he's not good enough yet.

Well im not convinced after watching his performances for Sheff Weds on Telly, just no where near good enough for the Prem, can get away playing as he was in that division though, needs more experience like that again....

Agreed. Still not good enough. Maybe give him a chance against a team like Reading because that's an easy game that we'd never los- oh wait.

Nothing is easy this year. We've got to play our best XI whenever possible and Barkley is still learning.

for those of you with a limited memory span, Barkley played against QPR begining of last season, and bossed and controlled the game, with a bit of luck, we would have won the match.....says to me the lad has got talent, but like every other palyer in the world, you dont necessarily do it every game, he's 18 ffs, cut him some slack and let him develop....some of you's talk about him like what you have seen is all there is.......when i bet most of you have only seen a picture of him anyway! give the lad a break.

OR I WILL KILL YOU. :)

Everyone bummed him after that QPR game and I thought he was just wasteful. I went that match as well but all I saw was him shooting every time he got the ball and he hasn't/didn't have a decent long shot on him either. It might as well of been Hibbo taking those chances.

exactly...we were obviously tiring at the ene on wednesday...10/15 minute wouldn't of hurt..might of just added that bit of spark to create a goal...

i'd go with him at the moment TBH..in place of naismith...with gibson back in i'd push felli forward and use ossie barkley and peanuts in there..
