I've a funny feeling this has been discussed before but who is everyone's favourite comedian? Or Top 5/10 Comedians?

    Mine:

    1. Tim Minchin
    2. Adam Hills
    3. Bill Bailey
    4. Billy Connolly
    5. Stephen K. Amos
    6. Milton Jones
    7. Omid Djalili
    8. Stewart Francis
    9. Russell Howard
    10. John Bishop

While I was compiling my Top 10, I actually realised how hard it was to do this.....

Tommy Cooper dominates list of best jokes

"Heard the one about two aerials meeting on a roof, falling in love, and getting married? The ceremony was rubbish but the reception was brilliant."

How about the man who went to buy some camouflage trousers? He couldn’t find any.

Or the one about the paper shop? It blew away.

The classic Tommy Cooper gags have been included in a list of the best jokes of all time in which the former stand-up comedian dominates.

His famous two-line jokes and one liners, known as “Cooperisms”, feature heavily in a list of the best jokes of all time as voted by almost 40,000 people.
Out of the top 50 jokes Cooper has been credited with no less than thirteen of them.

Cooper has more entries in the top 50 than any other comedian and had five in the top 10 alone.

Tommy Cooper is brilliant, and I'd advise anyone who likes him to get on to Milton Jones and Stewart Francis.

I've never seen Tim's stand-up, although a genius on Not Going Out, but I'd say from what I hear, that's a pretty controversial statement! Although for now, I will agree  ;-)

Saw Nathan Caton on mock the week and he was pretty good.

Really don't like Tim Vine because his jokes are old and predictable plus I can't stand the way he rushes through everything.
