This time last season…..

    After 13 games last season we had 16 points……so we’re only 5 points better off, despite all the talk about how better we started this time round…..thats the bad news....


    The good news though, at this point last season, Spurs were a massive 15 points ahead of us…..Arsenal were 10 points ahead of us…..

    So overall we’re in a much better spot now…….even though we’re all a bit disappointed with the points we’ve dropped lately…

    Lets extend our unbeaten run at home, but lets actually extend it with a win and not a draw. Another two points dropped on Saturday and everybody our breathing right down our necks. Huge game on Wednesday, with City away being our weekend game.

    We are only in 5th because all the other teams have got weaker. We do have a very good team but we are dropping too many points at the moment.

    at the same stage last year we won 5 games - same as this year - no impropvement there - where we improved massively is in the drawing department - i think from 1 last year to 6 or 7 this year - but i think we played stronger teams last year up till this stage - and we had 3 away wins compared to 1 this season - so we are doing better this season but only in some departments - this year we conceded one more goal than last year but scored 7 more i think - to me it is very much of a muchness - i have adjusted my expectations accordingly

    Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool are weaker this season, while Newcastle are also struggling this season. If they were as good as they were last season we wouldn't be 5th. Its not complicated!
