Which i agree, great business for a guy thats lost his consistent form over 2 yrs ago....Now everytime he will play for Assanal you will be posting pathetic little digs, bitter or what! Just goes to prove most on here know NOTHING about football.... Now get a grip and move on, we have more important things to deal with at our own club and with our own players...

Was a great player for us but hasnt been at his best since his bad injury!
I hope it goes well for him at arsenal he was great for us on and off the pitch for 5 out of his 6 years cost us very little and we made a profit on him after he left.
Wish him well and I for one will give him a great reception when he comes back to goodison and i would expect the majority of fans would feel the same! -

Posts: 194September 2011 hes gone and thats it. im not bothered what he does at arsenal although, im interested to see if he gets a spain call up and if he does.......then good luck to him.
i mean, ffs....the guy agreed to a deadline day last interview when he spent 90% of it saying that we are his family and looking like he was about to burst into tears. if you ask me, that's a hell of a better way to go than coming out with ''once a blue, always a blue'' then doin one for the money!

Posts: 7,950September 2011 Hey its just a form of moving on, its a bit of banter. He's gone, the club made some money, Everton are still here and will always be here. Cant see our supporters club where im from, bringing him back as a legend,or him wanting to come, like some of the fantastic nights of legends we've had. West, Labone, Harvey, Ball, Kendall, Pickering, Bailey, Watson, King, Horne, Royle and thats just a some of the 25+ nights we've enjoyed.
Goodbye Arteta, thanks for the memmories, but we do have to move on, "Come on all you young uns" -

I'm gonna go with Sky sports twisting his words there. He at no point says we held him back just that he didn't get a chance to win a trophy with us.However, how many trophies have Arsenal won in his time here? Are they more likely to win a trophy than us this year? Is us losing the FA cup final against Chelsea, the reason he's seemed so disinterested and played poorly since? I'm really starting to hope we can give the **** a good spanking this season...

Posts: 1,094September 2011 He only said he didn't get chance to win trophies.. which is not right, he could of won one every year if he and the rest were good enough.
I wish him no ill will and hope he does well at Arsenal, if only to knock Liverpool down, he wasn't a 75k a week player for us after his injury and 10mil I think we did alright.
No sleepless nights over it, great player, big loss but it was a big loss that we suffered years back against Newcastle when he went off, we spent a couple of years hoping to make him what he was but the real Mikky never came back.
