Everton new-boys Royston Drenthe and Denis Stracqualursi turned out for the Reserves this evening in Widnes against Aston Villa and the Dutch winger was on target with the second goal as the Blues lead 2-0 at the break. Magaye Gueye was the provider, having laid on the first goal for Ross Barkley. From Toffeeweb.com

Oh my God am replying to Milky and having a conversation

You see milky Ive a long memory and although you explained in a previous existence you used to answer everybody posts with extreme sillyness to put it mildly and where an annoying wee turd , and when you made mod i thought the world was going mad .

But I suppose it takes a bigger man to forgive and forget :)
everybody is entitled to a second chance so there you can have it , me thinks you deserve it now so may I take this opportunity to offer a olive branch out to you
    :)

Well in the other post about formations the 451 Moyes loves cant be the best for our strikers can it most need a partner , here's hoping denis and or Vellios can be given game time soon with say a speed merchant alongside < saha lol ok more likely Gueye

Vellios looked good last saturday but feel Moyes will use him sparingly.

Denis s a big lad who will hopefully hold the ball up well for the speedy boys I.E Drenthe,Gueye and Coleman

Would be happy with Osman in the hole rather than Cahill as well

Ossie or Cahil in the hole both obviously bring a different dimension so i don't think it would hurt to mix that up a bit at least?

I have to agree. I prefer 2 strikers up from...a big guy Denis/Velios with a speed guy Drenthe/Gueye. I hope the kids get some playing time on a consistent basis.

Just watched the highlights, I loved the fact Drenthe went to his teammates aid and was ready to do the dirty :D

I'd love to see Gueye and Vellios get pushed this season. Be like 2 brand new signings. I'm getting quite excited by the prospects we have breaking through. We have seen Barkley, heard good things about Gueye and Vellios in the reserves and just need to Rodwell to fulfil this 'potential' we keep hearing about and we could have an awesome team in 5 years.

Does anyone think we should start pushing Rodwell into the CB position? see what he can do as it is his natural position so I hear.

Drenthe has shown he has pace, skill and the ability to push the team forward and last night he shown he's willing to get stuck in and commit to the team.

he will have to watch his temperament in the prem, you know what some refs are like, last thing we want is a player off to over reaction, dont mind the passion tho, just got to watch his step in some games.
