Just noticed the score is 2-0 to us!

What's promising is the fact that Gueye set both goals up... one for Barkley and the other for Drenthe! :)

Only updates on the EFC facebook page.

EVERTON RES 2-0 VILLA: Denis Stracqualursi tries his luck from 25 yards and isn't far off target. (54)

EVERTON RES 2-0 VILLA: Royston Drenthe is replaced by Femi Orenuga and gets a great reception as he leaves the field. (63)

    Blistering counter attack.

Not like the first team at all

Drenthe excites me as he brings the 1 thing we have been lacking for years and that is pace

Meant to be a great attacking goal as milky says. Drenthe has well impressed along with Gueye too!

I think if we can keep everyone fit we'll have some exciting work down the wings in the coming games :)

I WENT WATCH IT TONIGHT ! DRENTHE DID OK IN FLASHES HAD A GOOD FREEKICK SAVED GOT BOOKED FOR FIGHTING ! DIDNT SEE THE GOAL THAT WELL AS IT WAS UP THE OTHER END ! GUEYE PUT THE BURNERS ON ONCE MUCHA HAD IT IN HIS HAND ! AND ONLY STOPPED WHEN SOMEONE IN THE CROWD SHOUTED LOOK BEHIND YOU LOL ! BUT NEET PASS TO DRENTHE AND HE WENT ONE ON ONE WITH THE GOALIE AND STUCK IT PAST ! GUEYE DID OK IN FLASHES PROBABLY OUR BEST PLAYER TONIGHT ! MUCHA DID WELL CAUGHT THE BALL WELL AND MADE A FEW GOOD SAVES ! DENIS REMINDED MORE OF A BEATTIE THAN A FERGUSON ! FEW LONG RANGE SHOTS THAT DIDNT TROUBLE THE KEEPER ! DIDNT REALLY DOMINATE THE IN THE AIR ! ORENUGA LOOKED IMPRESSIVE WHEN HE CAME ON ! HE'S FAST AS HELL ! AND GOT SOME QUICK FEET DOING STEP OVERS GALORE ! BARKLEY SHOWED A FEW GOOD FLASHES BUT ON THE WHOLE OF IT VILLA WERE THE BETTER SIDE ! ONLY ONE GAME SO DENIS MAY COME GOOD !

I personally, salute DRINGO and his caps.

Day one he's been here, and offering up the sort of insight that most of us can't buy... Denis is more Beattie than Ferguson and Royston is fighting already.

    Gueye and Orenuga sound good!

I like the way Gueye played last year when he got some run. He's a promising prospect...hope he continues to develope. Gueye, Barkley and Drenthe found form a nice young offensive core this year.

Some bloke we signed from southend (I think) a while ago now.... meant to be quick and Nigerian. Think we picked him up for about 25-30k too.

In summary, I believe you've missed something.
