Pathetic to judge after these games.

Wolves bigger club than QPR and bring more fans

Carling cup games never fill or come close to it

Man Utd is a much bigger game than Villa

Compare like for like, or wait until half the season is played before wasting yours and our time!!

Yet more negativity from tickets who I'm guessing wasn't at any game!

Yeah it's a bit of a nonsense topic but if you were to compare like with like - the Villa game from last season with the Villa game from last weekend....and since QPR weren't in the PL last season, take a similar size club from the same general area when they came to Goodison last season, like Fulham....you'll find the difference is small...accounted for by the protest keeping people away.

The Carling Cup game isn't really an indicator - that game against Huddersfield was our first home game in the competition since our 2008 semi final!

Exactly my point. If the first three games had been United, Carling Cup and Liverpool attendances would be up on the same stage last season, but he wouldn't have posted that!

thats around 18307 less tickets lets say average ticket was £20, thats £366,140 down, and we are only 3 home games in.

I can't believe that you have bothered to post this.

its a good post and fair.  its not pathetic to judge at all. you say that `Man Utd is a much bigger game than Villa`.

WHY??...its still worth 3 points no matter who you play. !

Im pretty confident that if last season we played Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal first, the attendaces would have been higher than if we`d played them first three games this year.

Why? coz no activity in the market and nothign to get excited about.......yeh you can all say well thats the situation so just deal with it....well yeh thats all well n good but does it mean we have to put up with it. ?

Most of you will disagree but i saw nothing wrong with the protest. If nothing gets said nothing gets done

    as an alternative think of:

the high number of unfortunate people who have lost their jobs in the last year

the high number of people currently under threat of redundancy ...

thsi includes the villa fans...last year Villa sold out both lower and upper sections of bullens road.this year only the bottom section was 3/4 full....maybe jsut evidencing what i've stated.....

alternatively just blame Bill and the board !!!

you raise a good point.....of course the global economic crisis hasnt helped. . although i think that the reason why The Premiership became so investable was that despite that kind of thing happening people are still gonna pay to go to football matches.  As Brits i think we would rather give up something else we need in life than we would tickets to see out team. That shows our pasion for the game. But i do see your point.

Also ...Villa just sold Downing and Young so fans are not so upbeat and are maybe thinking to themselves..`are we moving forward`?
