    With the exception of maybe the Huddersfield and Sheff Utd figures, that's surely pretty much how I'd expect it to be.... Maybe a little surprised at how few were at the Villa game, but obviously there are people voting with their feet rather than protesting in the streets...... I dunno, just a theory (I think)

    We never get to full capacity due to the amount of obscured view seats at Goodison and I believe our average attendance is roughly 35,000-36,000. If the average attendance to drop down to 32,000 then you have a point tickets, but you cant judge from 3 home games, one being a league cup game.

    we go on a good unbeaten run, the fans will come back, get through to the next round of the league cup, will boost moral.

    Have you lost sight of what we are all supporting here? Everton Football Club... not a board who can balance books by selling a player to cover seats on bums losses. This place has gone mad!

    2 being cup games.... in both years!
    He can judge by 3 homes games and he has judged by 3 home games. The proofs in the pudding and all that!

    sadly this is the harsh reality of everton fc, would you rather us do a portsmouth or a leeds?

    Nope indeed not! I'd rather us try and progress, like QPR, Stoke, Sunderland. Is that too much to ask?

    Anyhow, it is impossible for Everton to do a Leeds. Not only do we need a board that the banks trust to borrow money to but most importantly clubs now have to spend what they earn.

    What's even more disappointing is that you start your post with 'sadly' therefore you actually understand the situation but are still willing to accept it.

    id love us to have a billionaire owner like everyone else but for now we dont and we just have to get on with it. No point in getting frustrated about it.

    We can voice our opinion to the board that we are unhappy with stagnation, the same board who up until now have had no pressure to invest any money into the club... Why? Because Evertonians accepted it and got on with it!

    The same could be said for people not wanting to put more of their hard earned money straight into the banks pockets.

    There are approx 30,000 people walking around the ground every home game, what difference would 1000 walking with banners and singing Everton songs make?

    If however you are right milky, what happened to the attendance in the other 2 games?

    No protest but coincidently same board!

    Significantly Villa are a bigger club and closer than QPR yet we have 2000 less supporters.

    Main difference BU protest.

    I get your point now, I was comparing year to year games not games to games this year.

    There is a big drop in supporters from the QPR game to the Villa game but I don't think you can expect a bigger turnout for the Birmingham club as opposed to the London club.

    Maybe with the disappointing loss at QPR and then sudden sale of Arteta (arguably the most popular player at EFC) people were annoyed, voting with their feet so to say?

    I can see your point but we had just beat Blackburn so the fans should have been on the up rather than on a downer.

    I'm sure Villa would have brought more fans than QPR also.

    We only beat Blackburn because of an Arteta penalty.

    To be honest I thought Villa brought a good support but QPR are the new boys... I'd be surprised if they don't sell out their away allocation within days all season, and with the players they have brought in in the window the fans have something to be excited about. I see good things happening at QPR, they've done it the right way even though officially they are the richest club in the world!!

    Villa usually bring a very large crowd with them.

    I don't think the main fans would have been concerned but i think families may have thought twice.

    I also think finances may have played a part as most people are skint
