Maybe a loss will end up being a good thing

From the post-game comments Moyes and the team are incredibly disappointed and perhaps it's wishful thinking but maybe this will be a boost to our focus because we looked very apathetic at times in the Reading game.

I'd rather have a win but surely it's better at this point to lose once than draw, where we can say "well at least we didn't lose". The way we've been performing the last couple of weeks hasn't been good enough for 4th place and a serious look in the mirror will do the team some good. If this is the only way, to lose against a bottom team, then so be it.

losing is never a good thing. is that 1 win in 7 games, we have been playing nice football, but its becomming boring now constantly missing chances to win games comfortably, i bet we struggle next week v norwich, we can make excuses about poor refereeing, but piennar and baines have been poor the last few games, its like they have fallen out and hardly link up now, moyes has to take a look at himself as well , it was blatantly obvious the first half we struggled on set pieces and heitenga was having a shocker so why didnt he throw distin on, all said and done tho how is the corrupt fkkrrr of a referee still in the game atkinson has been a joke for a long time yet still he gets premier league games this fkrrrrrrrrrrrrr belongs in sunday league football along with coleman whos absolutely woeful, cant wait for hibbert to be back which says a lot on how bad coleman is

Agree with this, should have realised Reading would try to make big changes at half time after things weren't working form them. Hoping for more goals in the 2nd half isn't enough, need to keep the opposition guessing.

I don't know what it is, but we always struggle against these teams, and we will struggle next week against Norwich. I think that one or two changes to the team next week will help, but we have to win games against the likes of Norwich, even though they are in decent form.

no offence like, and i hope this doesn't come across as being agressive in any manner...but this is a stupid post.....none of it makes any sense.....

and the Reading defeat will do nothing to kick the layers up the **** either.......the fulham result should have done that.....

on saturday we got caught out by the 2 factors which will ultimately cost us 4th spot.....corrupt officials.....and a small squad...

    1. any team that has 2 peno's not given will struggle to win a game.....

    2. alot of our players played international football on wednesday night.....and had to travel to play in those games......I think that showed in the second half against Reading, they looked much fresher as the game went on.....had the game even been on sunday maybe that would have given our players the time needed to fully recover....Can't blame Moyes for his team selection really, their was f*ck all other options for him with Mirallas, Gibson, Neville, Anichebe & Hibbert out injured....
