Can we ask English Heritage for help?
I am not sure naming rights would work, it will always be Goodison no matter what people call it, see the Boleyn Ground or whatever it was they call the San Siro (though both of those might be something different, I am wholly ignorant)

Would you be willing to take the cash on offer and take the name change of our ground to something like the Mcdonalds Stadium/ Red Bull Stadium/ Tesco Stadium? Or is the history of our club and the name "Goodison Park" worth more to you than cash in the bank?

It doesn't matter how established it is, the media would have to refer to it by the name it was changed to and that is what sponsors pay for. They don't care what the fans call it as long as it is getting namedropped in the places that matter. It's definitely an avenue that the club should look at exploring, the state of the ground doesn't matter as it's all about mentions in the media rather than anything else. That being said, you can do wonders with photoshop these days!
