tonight... there will not be '50 6 feet men running threw my house'. And that is the main question.

What on earth is going on with you, that and you asked to be banned and then signed up again with the same name and picture... ?

Is that why there are threads all over the place with 'deleted user' in them?

I think the way the article was written, as has already been mentioned in another thread, in a way that you would think it was a child who'd been abused so it's a poor article in that sense, but the point remains that the lad and his Dad have their own views on the BU and what they're doing, i.e. Pro-BU, and that it doesn't matter whether he's pro or anti, nobody deserves to be abused just for their beliefs.... Apart from the Extreme far-right (or, for the sake of balance, the radical far-left), but even then, they're entitled to their views, right or wrong.

Andy, I know what you are saying but these guys seem to be going out of their way to attract verbal abuse and this article is only going to generate more towards people stupid enough to wear one of those shirts.

However, this thread made (or tried to) three points:

The article talks about a split in the fan base and how it hopes to increase that split

It also talks about hoping that the 'wins dry up' so that they can get more people on their side. Which isn't at all supportive and putting their own tatty efforts and misguided beliefs ahead of the clubs performance on the pitch.

And lastly, that any attempt to make those points on the SOS comments section of the article gets deleted. And I wondered who else is having anti BU comments censored?

I do take you're point, but that wasn't what the thread was about. That said, if its a abuse for wearing one of their t-shorts that they don't want... they seem to be going about it the wrong way if you ask me.

How do you work out that they want a split? Surely the bloke is merely pointing out that there IS a split between fans on the issue of Kenwright, which nobody can deny.

Secondly, to me, he points out that if we don't get investment for players, then things will get stale, current players will get injured that we can't replace and could possibly end up with more poor results than good. I don't entirely agree with this myself, and take your point that it's a rather negative way of 'supporting' the club.

And your final point is also something I agree with you on, I don't think they should be censoring comments if that's what they're doing just because they're anti-BU. It's your view, and anyone else who's anti-BU. Each side should be able to debate the issues fairly, without resorting to censorship, and of course name calling.

I (stupidly) made comments on 2 articles on that website yesterday.
The first one never appeared...I made 2 attempts to post it (I posted it here instead)
The second one did appear but woprse than being removed....entire sentences were removed which completely changed the contect of what I was saying.

So they're not worth the effort!

"During the game, we saw carefully edited shots of Bill Kenwright which
had two reactions: boos and support, that doesn’t matter what camp
you’re in, what it does is show the fans are split and as the wins dry
up the tide will turn even more.
    "

That sentence there. For me it is claiming there is a split and that with some luck (bizarrely, wins drying up) the split will be wide and their side will grow as well... 'tide will turn even more'

For me, that just goes to underline the state of these people.

Andy, you are a good lad, always have been but of late your attitude seems to be leaning so far to the left your wheels are in the Irish Sea. Stop the rot, bring back the old Andy. The happy one. Too much time on your own I reckon mate.

Can't deny the roots Mr Cone, was how I was brought up by my Dad, who unfortunately has abandoned his political roots in favour of religion.
