    Can't see it Beardsley wasn't a central midfielder plus would he not have been after Reidy?....I dont if there ever has been, just wanted to throw it out there.

    Beardsley often played as an attacking Midfielder. Alto more for RS than for England. He and Reid played at the 1986 world cup - altho Beardsley was in his first spell at Newcastle at the time I think. It's possible they played together after he joined Liverpool. But I don't know.
