thedan said:Hi all .I have read all the articles and listened to the interviews from all sides over the past number of weeks and have reached the following conclusions
\\firstly I want to say I struggle to say anything bad about Mr kenwright.i can see his point totally that when he took over we we as fans looked at the fixture list to see who we had on final day for fear of the drop rather then as has been in recent yrs looked at opening fixtures to see how well we might start. I also have can see the merit in the argument that we have consistently been a top 8 club for last 5 yrs and this is an achievement worth noting. In fact the history lesson of our club in the Moyes era cannot be argued with.
It is here though where i think the board and the many club spokepeople are missing the point of what us fans are saying. While we probably all accept we are a long way from where we were 10 yrs ago ,It is the next 10yrs we are concerned with. The evidence of the last two seasons has been that our progress has at best stalled and the warning signs are there of a possible terminal decline.
As Martin luther king said...... If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward." We may as has been pointed out by many been lucky in an era of dodgy owners to have had a true blue in charge but if he cant even raise a crawl or find someone who can all the good work of the last 10 yrs will be wasted and we will return to looking at the final day fixtures again.

Indeed!
I would like someone to give the same analysis on here but with a positive outlook? I am yet to see it. The only thing I see from anti-BU brigade is abuse and childish remarks of, 'you apply for the job if you think you can do better'.
I for one am all for being proven to that the current board can do a job for the next 10 years, but I'm yet to see any evidence of this.
The only evidence that exists is indeed the opposite.
If they can't sell the club after 4 years, how do they propose to so it now?
If they have had 2 failed stadium plans, and of their own admission, have no plan b how do they propose to move us on?
If they don't have a penny to spend how do they propose to invest in the team?
I'm not making this up, this is all stuff from the boards mouth and none of it looks promising for the future of Everton.
SO like I've requested a few times already, can someone who still has believe in the board please explain and enlighten me as to why??

This is the only post i'm going to contribute to this debate.....so i wont answer any replies (if there are any)
This is the problem though BLUEDAYZ....you ask to be convinced but wont/dont listen and accept the reasoning behind whats being stated to you....you come back with your ( i wont say arguments.. although they are ) opinions !!!
Hence you'll never be convinced.....and so your "negativity" your words... will remain...
