I think the QPR game was a very Everton-esc freaky blip, other than that, mid table, game in hand and safley through the 1st round of the cup, is slightly above what I was expecting. So on the whole, I think its been alright..........

we have done ok in the scheme of things, if every 3 gaems over the season, we won 1 drew 1 and lost 1, think everyone would be over the moon, so we gotta be reasonably happy with the start :)

we have had a steady start considering the circumstances surounding the club the qpr game was a big let down but in fairness we allways start poorly ,the two new lads need to settle in quickly and start grinding out the results .
we should have beet villa but thats football we move on .we can compete with most if not all the teams in the prem and have no reason to doubt the side hopefully we can put an early run together and forget about all this doom and gloom coybb!!!

Thought we played poorly against Q.p.r but we didnt deserve to lose.
Thought Blackburn should have beaten us-they were better than us.
Thought we murdered Villa and would have liked to have seen a more positive substitution like vellios coming on a bit earlier to try to seal the win while we were so much on top.
I dont think we are any better or worse than last season and once again we will finish top ten pushing for the europa league places.
If Drenthe or Straq settle in well and add to what we were last season then we could do better than most people here seem to think i reckon.

to be honest, i thought we had 3 very winnable games if the performances were just ok, hoping for a really good start 4 points from blackburn away, qpr and villa at home isnt the good start i was hoping for need 3 points vs wigan or it will be very poor start, we needed to be looking for 10 points atleast from first 4 games, after that weve got a real tough run, so we needed to get points on the board , hopefully we can raise our game for the tough ones coming up, massive improvement saturday hope it continues 3 points vs wigan is a must.

i think that the result against wigan will determine whether or not our start is good or bad

we have a big month coming up points need to be gained now so 3 against wigan is deffo needed.

Feel the loss of Arteta will only bring the remaining players closer.

i also think with arteta gone, barkley and rodwell will get more games because lets be honest, moyes would always play arteta (when fit) regardless of form.

That would see us finish on 51 points.
    Over the moon?

our start goes along with how i think we'll end up at the end of the season, between 7th-10th, we'll be fighting for those places with the likes of stoke, villa , west brom, newcastle and fulham. league is so boring and predictable now. footies f***ked lids.

If you had broken the games down all three should have been winable.

Comapred to last season and the worrying transfer market time i am very happy with the results we have so far and esp the way the team is looking. Fingers crossed.

we've had a much better start to the season for a change. lets hope it continues and we get a good finish as well. our league position based on games after january last season would have been top four.

its to early to judge, i think were going to need the kind of luck, we got at blackburn, to finish in the top 7, lets hope we can have a good cup run, in both competions, maybe win one of them, why not!

I went to the QPR game, and feel we did deserve to lose. There was no passion, no urgency, and we looked like we'd gone for a stroll in the park. The same also could be said about the Blackburn game, but at the end of the day, we got the three points, and for once, were lucky.

The villa performance was much better, and fills me with optimism, if we can play like that, but sure ourselves up defensively (I feel we've never been the same without Yobo, we were at our best with Yobo/Jags at the back) we can have better results.
