Just read about his victory in the States, got booed going in the ring but had an ovation leaving it. Stoppage in 8 having floored Shawn Hawk twice in 7. Always dangerous a last minute opponent when theyve never been stopped and have a history of big hitting. Tom Jones and Mickey Rourke carried his belts in, but they both only turned up just before he was to go into the ring, bad lads, very disresepectful to the fighter but at least they turned up.

Hate cleverly to be honest mate. His record of opponents bar Bellew is laughable.
They should re-match. Reckon it would be a different story now.

Why do you think it will be different. In my opinion it wouldnt change, if anything it might end quicker. Cleverly has too quick a hand speed for Bellew and is a classier boxer. Bellew has a lot of heart and strength but as the fella last night found out its not enough against Cleverly. Dont forget Cleverly is now more experienced too since they last met, you learn a lot from each fight you get.

Whilst I agree in principal I dont think bellew would make the same mistakes,

Dont know what it is about cleverly

Cleverly faught well last night... But bar one or two shots the other lad never looked like threatening him... In truth he was out first time he went down... The ref took a liberty with the count...

I think cleverly bellew rematch would be interesting... I feel cleverly underestimated bellew... But similarly - and i know this might silound crazy - bellew overestimated cleverly. i know bellew gives it the big i am but once in the ring he sometimes looks like he lacks confidence...

sorry Howie but he is only keeping the belt warm until someone worth while turns up in the division, I mean this with the greatest of respect though as you can only beat what's in front of you but the division is very lacking but who knows maybe someone will turn up and he will show he is class?

Bellew deserves another crack at him but it would be great if wins next week then goes on to challenge fora title

If the division is lacking then surely that means he'll hold it for a while so wont be keeping it warm for anyone. No apologies needed, he's done what he's had to and the debate was whether Bellew could beat him, i think not but its down to opinions.

how is cleverly more experienced since their last fight.  he's done absolutely f@ck all since then.  what possible experience can you gain from a couple of fights against bums.  if anything bellew has a better chance in a rematch because he certaintly has gained a lot of experience since they last fought and looks a better fighter now than he was back then

cleverly's hand speed is nothing special.  and bellew certainly doesn't lack hand speed himself (although he doesn't get the recognision he deserves for it).  bellew would have a chance in a rematch thats for sure
