I thought he'd do better but he was decent for his first game. He's meant to have a good long shot but I didn't see much evidence of that, skewing one very wide from outside the box.

He not played at this level for a while. It's take him a few games to find his form but I don't think he was signed as a first choice player.

lol why is there even a thread on this he came on in the 86th minute not suprising you didnt see much evidence of his shooting skill had one shot which was probably his first kick of the game, hes not played any competetive football for a good while, he needs at least a half or give him a go in place of neville vs norwich at goodison or something, sooner see junior given another game cant help thinking hes getting over looked after one game vs leeds away when the team were poor collectively, ive liked the look of francisco junior when ive seen him and has a lot more potential than hitzleblabla who was just a stop gap signing untill moyes can bring someone in as cover in january maybe the guy from bruge, as for january thats going to be important, were going to need a few quality players bringing in on loan to keep us pushing for top four, maybe get barkley back to play a free roll behind jelavic and keep felli in centre mid, anything but neville please

Totally ridiculous thread, on the pitch for 9 minutes, and you thought he would have done better........how old are you ?and have you ever played football to any standard mate?

I was going to say lay off this kid, he's probably only about 12, then I thought wait a minute, I don't think even a 12 year old could be that stupid, 6 perhaps so I'll let him off.

12? Funny, I would have said the same thing about you given the childish insults. I've been keen to see him in action ever since he was signed and thought he came on earlier in the match but maybe I was mistaken. Still, even 10 minutes is something if not enough to see his real ability.

There is no way you can judge the lad on 5 minutes. I think he is a good squad player to have but we will have to wait and see what he does.

Of course. I didn't say we could judge him after today, but we can certainly judge his performance, however short it was.

To be fair to james... It only takes on average five minutes of any given match for phil neville to prove he shouldnt be on the pitch...

We were cursing Jelavic missing so many attempts at goal in the warm up, it was quite funny at the time......
