my hobby is photography and freelance journalism. which sounds great but its not that big a deal. if i write a few words to go with my pix the local paper gives me money. this is something that i am very keen to encourage. indeed i think the world would be a much better and brighter place if more people could be encouraged to give me money.

alas, so many narrow-minded, unimaginative people seem to be quite unable to recognise this. i dont know why. the royal family have been doing well out of it for centuries.

Aside from Everton, beer, ladies, gambling, do you lot have hobbies to share on here that might be of interest?

Idi Amin, aside from genocide, has a photography hobby, as do I.

You can see my photos page HERE though they're not all recent, or decent photos.

Have any others of you got stuff to share that might spark debate that's not about Kenwright?

I have a collection of over 300 Dinkey cars, no 2 the same.

Also a massive  collection of die cast models, all related to Royal Mail.

Anything Baseball. I'm fortunate to get to actually work for a Major League Baseball team (Tampa Bay Rays grounds crew). It's pretty interesting. Then again, if you get paid for it, is it a "hobby"?

Learning to play football/soccer is a hobby. Starting at 43 years old, I really can't be too serious!  So I guess I can consider it a "hobby". Oh...and I took up running so I can increase my endurance to actually play football. I NEVER thought that I'd answer "running" as a hobby.

Fly Ball (Dog Sports) and Music of course.

I've really gotten into taking photographs this year. I love taking pictures of anything that has to do with nature...toads, flowers, trees, landscapes and especially the sky.
Learning the guitar and writing poetry is another favorite pastime as is exercising and working out.
Gardening would be another thing I love. Digging my hands into the soil makes me feel renewed and energized. All the hard work and toiling in the dirt pays off when that first flower blooms or I get to bite into the first tomato of the season.

I wish I had more time to get into gardening.  I have a few herbs, an olive and a basil tree (the olive tree does not like England!) but my garden's tiny and I never have time
