    Fully deserved. I'm not sure if he'll play tbh, think the best he can really hope for is a 20 minute cameo appearance.

    well deserved, congrats Ossie....

    although at his age, and with our lack of midfield options....i'd much prefer him to not be in the England squad.....

    but he def deserves an international cap....been overlooked too often when average players have been handed call ups.....speaking of which, what's Shelvey doing in the squad....Hodgson really has an unhealthy obsession for liverpool players...

    The jersey will suit him, that's for sure. Confidence boost as well. I think he has a good chance 'cause of his experience and his work ethic. Still fingers crossed. Can imagine how happy he seems to be in the very next evertontv interview of him.

    Just a thought but if he plays who will Gerrard pass to, we all know he never plays it to Baines or jags!

    well, if that's how Gerrard's doing it, he's gonna have to change it. It ain't that bad after all is it. I would pass the ball to Gerrard, I know Osman will.

    haha good point mate, still shaking my head at Shelvey being involved

    back to football (sort of), i was surprised Noble didn't get the nod to be in the squad as sky have been talking about him a lot recently and talking up his credentials for an england cap, not a fan myself but watching the ball fly over your head in midfield is a skill needed to play for england so i can see their point like

    very very happy for him, i genuinely think that this reward for working so hard will now motivate him to go on and play even better this season now that he knows England coaches actually know who he is!

    i agree with that statement whiskers so i am going to couple of quid on him celebrating with a goal at the weekend

    i actually think Mirallas will end up with the players award and Fellaini with the fans but i hope he continues with his form nontheless

    i know that leaves out baines and pienaar who are still arguably the best pairing in the prem and the vastly improved coleman, i love being blue at the minute!

    So made up for twinkle toes, its so overdue when ya look at some of the crap that has been picked before him. Henderson, Zidanes double(hahahaha), Downing, Gerrard(not got it anymore) oh just realised they're all RS, what a coincidence.......
