    its a matter of persistence and skill. we probably need better pr people. they are cheap enough. you hire a local company who get paid by results but you need to support them and any events that they mount. any players injured or not playing can be used to front marketing functions, as long as it didnt interfere with their recovery obviously.

    they dont even need to be well known players if you tell people that they are stars they will accept them.

    so your experience is that we are not doing that were you are... which is worrying given you're not a million miles from the home of chang... but then its not surprising as i fear efc missed the boat with marketing despite being one of the main forces who pushed for the premuer league... dont suppose an email to elstone would help much...

    i was against the epl from the start. i recognized the b@stard was founded upon greed and money and had little to do with sport or what was good for the fans.

    it will swallow itsself eventually... cant see how it will be sustainable... certainly not on a domestic level...

    its leisure industry propped up a handful of people with mega bucks... look around the premier league and you will see empty seats at most grounds... add to that the cheap price that premier games are sold abroad (then transmitted back via the internet to most living rooms)... it cant go on too long... one of the top club goes and it will collapse...
