mirrallas is better on the left

for me mirallas is far more of a threat coming from the left.  just look at his performance in the derby and his shot in the second half against fulham were he cut inside.  on the right he doesn't look as effective

i know people will say pienar and baines have a great partnership so why break it up. but i beleive baines could develop the same patnership with mirallass.  and as good a player as pienar is he has absolutely no pace or ability to go past a man.  players like that don't belong on the wings

i would have fellaini and gibson holding the midfield with pienar infront of them.  pienar could pull all of the strings, link up with jelavic, even come deep and pick the ball up when the time is right.  i just think  he is made for the middle. i'd have mirallas on the left and naismith on the right.

i'm sick of fellaini playing behind the striker.  i know he is effective there and he scored 2 goals against fulham but he belongs in defensive mid.  all we do is lump balls up to him, it's pathetic when we'eve got good footballers in the team.  i beleive fellaini and gibson holding would be absolutely formidable.  then use the footballers infront of them - mirallas, maismith, ossie, barkley - to create things for the goal machine jelavic

Said for a while that felli needs to come back into a defensive mid role, he bosses the midfeild when hes there and him with gibson would be brilliant, we wouldnt be throwin points away with daft mistakes like we have been lately with nev in midfeild

Also like you say about baines and pienaars patnership, and maybe havin mirralas there, i think would be good, baines is a player who can play with anyone on the wing, and if that puts miralas to his best then its certanly worth trying

Since Felli moved up top last Jan we have created so many chances to move the focal point of this transformation would be madness. Felli to stay AM, Mirallas LM, Pienaar RM, Osman CM, Gibson DM and we're set to continue making a lot of chances.
You'll always concede going forwards frequently which is why Moyes used to use those dour negative tactics that got us so high in the table so many times.

We should start a pole, for Felli forward, or Felli DM. For me its Felli DM.

Glad to see some people agree with me that Fellaini should be CDM again.

Mirallas is like Ronaldo, isn't he? Doesn't Ronaldo play LW?

if gibson was playing, we wouldn,t be having this debate.if you move mirallas to the left who plays in front of coleman who would be more effective than mirallas

best attacking team we have seen in years, got to be one of the most exciting teams to watch in Europe because we can change the attacking patterns of our play. best left sided combination in the league, monster of a midfielder who gets all over the pitch, right flank that has created and scored goals and is rapidly blossoming into a major threat and people want us to change it, madness!

We all know there should be one nailed on change when Gibson is fit.  After that, I think it's then a case of tweaking to allow for personal preference/form/opposition, where everyone's opinion is valid, but only one person's opinion really matters.

Just a little tweak that gets rid of neville will do

I love Fellaini in Dm midfield but changed my mind bit this season and think that in some games we won't need him there especially when Gibson is back. He seems clever enough and with a big enough engine to change within a game and play where we need him. one goal up with very little time left and he should be back in front of the defence . might have saved us few points this season. i think we are also learning to switch Mirallis during games to the point where he is most effective which can be either side or through the middle. He has added that fluidity to our attacking play

I THINK MIRALLAS AND COLEMAN PARTNERSHIP LOOKS GOOD ! BOTH GOT PACE AND WORK WELL TO ME ! FELLI'S 1ST GOAL AGAINST FULHAM FOR E.G. !

    Mirallas-Coleman
    Baines-Peinaar

Good combos, don't break them up.

    I'd have to agree.
Although Coleman needs a bit more work to be a permanent RB (defence wise), the pairing offer's more in attack than we have had on the right for years now.

this started as is where Mirallas best, but I think its really about do we leak silly goals with Felli at DM, even with Gibson in team. I'd love to see us play a very fluid Mrallas, Piennar, Naismith atacking mid 3 just behind Jelli. Alll 3 swapping roles , keeping defences guessing all the time.
and yea, i meant poll (not pole)

I've starting to notice that it is no longer the Baines-Pienaar combination anymore...... It is now becoming a Baines-Pienaar  move down the left, with either Fellaini or Osman wating for the ball just inside and then using Baines pace to get him behind the defense.

This is quite effective as all three are good ball players and the opposition players are loath to give away free-kicks in that area so our crosses coming in from the left are usually a prelude to a goal.

Mirallas on the other hand has a tendency to drive in-field with the ball at his feet which usually sees him closed down quickly and him having a crack at goal from outside the area. Opposition defenses will lap this up the whole day.

Leaving Mirallas on the right will result in more of his running to the by-line and cutting a cross back as he did for Felli's first goal last week.If he drifts inside from the right, Coleman overlaps and gives him further options.

So I would rather him be on the right as our left is currently sorted.........
