Fulham v Everton Preview...

Everton come into this off the back of three draws... Our away record reads won two, drawn two, lost one... That one loss recorded against an underrated West Brom side who people are now starting to rate... We've shown we're not shy of going at teams having scored nine but defensive frailties have shown us conceding six...

Fulham have a strong home record with three wins and their only loss being inflicted by the reigning champions... In that time they've scored ten and only conceded two (both against City)...

Our record at Craven Cottage isn't the strongest with winning only five times in twenty seven attempts...

With three players tied on three goals and with a handful on two there is not just one area that Fulham will pose a threat...

Make no mistake, we've had a good season but this weekend's fixture is a real test... I've read many saying we can take full points over the next few fixtures... We can...But we'll need a strong performance... Win and we really could set ourselves up for a run...

Play like we did against that lot (barring the first 20 minutes) and if Mirallas and Naismith play like they did (if Naisy keeps his place) then I reckon we will definitely give 'em a good going over. Need the Jela Man to get himself going again as well.

Fancy us to do them this weekend, they seem to have found how to get berbatov playing again (must be all the **** breaks with Jol) and he is playing deep so Neville is going to have to be on his toes all game, which is a little worrying.

That said i fancy us to out play them, pienaar and baines will be our main threat although i really want mirallas to be fit, him against this current version of riise is a match made in heaven for him, 1-3 Jelavic 2 and Coleman

Jela just hasn't done it for me so far this season....I'm sticking with him in my fantasy football team as I know he'll come good again.

Tomorrow would be the perfect time to start.

Agreed. When he got his first goal this season, I thought 'here we go' but failed to materialise so far.

it's still there in Jela, he would of had the 2nd in the derby only naisy took it off his toe. fancy him tomorrow his movement will be too much for hangaaland

very tough game, under Jol Fulham are one of the best home teams in the league.....

if we want to keep up with the top 4, we really need to win this as 3 points from the last 9 isn't good enough.......

i think this game should be a cracking game with lots of goals.....i'd fancy Jelavic for a couple of goals.......but still not sure we'll win it.......high score draw.......

The good thing about Jela is although it must be frustrating for him not scoring much this season, he doesn't seem to have dropped his head. I don't think he has anyway, still think he's putting a good shift in. It will definitely come soon.

he is the same in every game mate if he misses (or scores to be fair) he just tries again, he has that brilliant attitude to just go again because he loves to score goals

Note that more than 3 points were in our favour in those last 9 possible.

    Hasn't Jelavic scored 3/4 in 6? That's not bad...

Is anyone willing to speculate that Fellaini will be moved back to his usual position- defensive mid- to counter the threat of Berbatov? There are plenty of alternatives to support Jelavic up front: Oviedo, Pienaar, Mirallas, Naismith, Osman, Anichebe. If Hibbert is back, then you can add Coleman to that list.

All things being equal (a level playing field) we should squeeze home by 1 goal - unless we have the 3rd own goal in succession , another biased ref , the woodwork or some more rotten luck getting in our way again ....... we have to start creating our own luck - if i was the Fulham coach i would say : hit them hard and hit them early - that is where they are vulnerable - we must be prepared for that........

    BERBATOV...

i think that if we can stop him we can win this one. he's a brilliant striker and getting him for 5 mill was an incredible bargain. but apart from him we've got fulham beaten.

i fancy us to win big. 3 - 1 for us. and jeli to get a couple.

I'll agree with this. It's time to step up the intensity or get left behind. Must, must stop Berbatov. He's a class player, one of my fave non-Everton players but it's time to defend his **** to death. Everton 3-2.

Our players will be hungry after 3 draws, I'm expecting lots of goals. 4-1.
