    I live in Australia for reasons I don't need to disclose to you or anyone else. But I'm still proud of my roots. And feel no need to look down on those who still live here.

    But please by all means keep making yourself feel better than us with your tales from the cuntry side...

    One day I may feel insecure enough to tell you all about my big house......& how I live 5 mins from the beach.....

    living next to the beach is not all that it's cracked up to be..did it for 15 years...couldn't wait to get away from it in the end..

    no me either...great for the first few years..then did me nut in..

    family coming to stay all summer meant we had to use up our holidays.. giving them a holiday !!
    when we had used our holidays up..we were expected to still go out with them even though we had to be up for work next day..
    holiday makers parking right outside your drive way, sometiomes completely blocking it..
    not being able to get on your driveway (believe it or not) once someone actually parked on our drive as they "thought it would be ok coz they couldn't find somewhere to park"
    not being able to get near your own house..dinner time..evenings...daren't go out shopping in the car..

    OH !! THE WINGING GOES ON AND ON......
