Yes.. although he not very reliable it would add more speed and attacking options. Also bring Vadis in January!

wll tbh he would be a good addition to the squad and would pretty much suit our style of play atm, just wondering to play were ? the wide positions are sorted maybe in behind jelavic, i think he would be a good sub, he scored and created a few and is a decent player and would be good cover.

    I would............ Moyes wouldn't........

Pity really, as a substitute, he could really terrorise tiring defenders and have wild cracks at goal.

Always something in his locker ..... all agro....  gnashing teeth and foaming mouth ..... cracking option to have!!!!!!!

If it were actually on the cards, Moyes would, in no uncertain terms, put him in his place prior to even discussing a return. If he gave him a second chance, he may just sort his attitude out and be the beast we know he can be and be a serious asset.

I'd give him a shot, if he's a ****** again it's not like the players would be unsettled by it and the first sign of it would equal him in the reserves, if he's lucky.

    No.......

too unprofessional, let us down big time before the cup semi final.....

even when he was available to play, he was reckless in possession, and didn't fight hard enough to defend his own errors...

yes he has his moments, but so did VDM, and no one would have him back.......the fact he can't find a club says it all for me......no thanks

and i don't believe the rumour anyways, i don't believe Moyes would have him back....

No. I'd love him back but we can't do it. Discipline must be permanent and threats cannot be empty. Look at Mancini: He caved in to Tevez and all of a sudden players don't know their place. Balotelli does his thing and Micah Richards mouths off.

If Moyes took Drenthe back he'd lose his authority.

Isn't he playing in Turkey now? Wouldn't trust him myself I still blame him for that fiasco at Wembley, his behaviour upset the whole positive attitude of the squad imo anyway

    What did he do wrong?

He threatened to reveal the location of the Chewit Monsters lair, Moyes said that only he knew the true location and threatened to sell Roystons Planet of the Apes DVD to Charlie Chalk.

    Understandable why he's gone then.

Personally I think Mirallas is Drenthe without most of the negatives. Both quick, got skill and an eye for a goal, but Mirallas just has a better head on him and is a bit more willing even in his early stages with the team to get back and help defend.

For all the good Drenthe did he was just as easily capable of bad in giving away goals. Would I have him back as a squad player though? Definatly, because he's the best type of sub you could bring on.

Unforgivable what he did before the semi, for me he was a bit of fun and excitement but overall not good for the club, fell over too much too, and always trying his stuff in our own half and not the opposition half......

I prefer Mirallas although Drenthe is a talent.

Would I have him back? Yes I would. A lot of you are saying about before the semi final. Yes it was a big betrayal to us and the club, his teammates etc, but if he works on it I think he can put his attitude problems behind him. Pienaar had problems with his attitude at Dortmund, but here he works hard. I think when Drenthe put his mind to it he was a cracking player, with a good shot, got some important goals for us (Blackpool goal, Fulham goal, QPR Goal, Arsenal goal which was wrongly ruled out) and contributed in our win against shitty.

He was a bit hotheaded though and didn't track back enough, but if Moyes is wiling to give him a second chance and he is willing to work hard then as a squad player I'd love him back and eventually turn him into a replacement for Pienaar when he retires. Remember, Moyes has apparently mellowed..
