    Good evening guys.

I am an Aberdeen FC supporter & as you may or may not be aware, former Everton defender Gary Naysmith signed for us at the start of the season,I know alot about Gary from his international career, but I was hoping to get some memories/opinions or anything at all from you guys regarding his club career whilst at Everton. He played over 300 games for yourselves.

There was a real buzz around when we signed him there, and albeit he is now 33/34 he still looks decent, just recovered from a hamstring injury so he's been replaced by a young full back named Clark Robertson, but I hope Gary taked his slot back.

So to sum up,I am looking for memories/opinions about Gary, good or bad,to do as summary on one of our own supporter forums. Thanks in advance guys, and the very best of luck for the remainder of the season. Looks like Moyes has been shrewd again in the addition of Mirralles, looks a real prospect.

Liked Naysmith a lot, wasnt a great defender but liked to go forward and gots some vital goals at times. Very likeable lad too, met him a couple of times. Tells a good story about Duncan Ferguson on Duncan's DVD..

Scored on his last ever touch for Everton against Portsmouth in a 3-0 win. It came from a corner and Beattie flicked it on and Naysmith scored the diving header back post.

Honestly thought this was a thread that was going to be about that tackle and the severe lack of punishment (in the game) for the rat,how much was he trying to influence the ref on sunday the lads a baddun. Anyway I really liked Naysmith always put in a shift.

Howdy, Stranger!
