    What a stupid comment by Gerard about the Derby. Anyone watching the game could see which team was playing the better football. After the two Liverpool goals we ran rings round them and if they hadn't taken out Mirallas I think we would have beaten them in the second half. I do think though that Howard does tend to kick the ball long too often.

    Take no notice Gerrards finished and his deluded rant proves it. Seems as though hes over the hill and has no sway on the outcome of games no more he has to mouth off utter balls and make a_cunt of himself twice in 3 days.

    gerrard is frustrated. since his injury he isnt the player he once was. a player in decline is a sad spectacle but he's over the hill, if not under it.

    I hate all this rubbish about how long balls are negative. Long balls are negative if you just hoof and hope. When we hit it forward its for the likes of Fellaini to bring it down and suddenly we're 2/3's up the pitch with the ball at our feet rather than just aimlessly passing it around the midfield and defence like these so called "passing teams" do.

    read a stat that liverpool and swansea have hit the lowest no of launch balls - high and into space, not too a team mate...

    we are third highest...

    however that "launch" does not mean the ball is hit aimlessly... and includes balls that your team can run on too...
